Key Hooks

Welcome to our page dedicated to key hooks. Most of the pages on this website deal with bathroom accessories and organization, but here, we feel strongly about key hooks. Since we are already covering other types of hooks, we feel like this page can't be left out!

Hooks make organizing your items so much easier. Especially when it comes to keys. They are small and easy to lose, yet they hold some of the most valuable items that we can't be without. We'd like to share with you how to turn an altoid mint box into a key hook.

Make Your Own

You'll probably want to paint the box. Unless you prefer a key holder with the original altoid box decorations. You will only be using the part that use to hold the mints. You do not need the lid anymore. Wash out the old container and then prime it. After the priming has dried you can spray paint it whatever color you'd like.

Now you need a hook. If you're really resourceful you can fasten a hook from the altoid lid. Whatever hook you end up with, you'll want to clean it, prime it, and paint it how you'd like. Once both items are completely dry, you can attach your hook. You can use a strong glue to attach the hook to the old altiod tin box. Finally to finish your new key holder, simply drill two holes in the upper corners of the altoid box and then attach it to your wall.

If you'd rather just purchase an already manufactured and finished item, you can find that here too. Navigate to the "buy" page from the menu on the right! Enjoy.
