Wall Hooks

Wall hooks are the general hooks. They aren't specifically built for a robe, a towel, a key, or anything else in particular. They come in a wide variety of hook sizes, loop lengths, and load bearing capacities. Even though they aren't designed for towels, robes, or coats, they usually work well with these objects. If you are buying a hook for your towel or robe, there is one thing to becareful of. Since it's not made specifically for those items, often they will be made of wood. You will want to avoid installing a wood hook in your bathroom. The moisture level in a bathroom is much higher than any other room of the house. The wood will absorb that moisture and eventually warp and splinter.

Pleasantly Surprised
As Seen On TV Hercules Hooks - I was skeptical that only one of these hooks would support the weight of two large paintings I was hanging. The pictures were probably about 45 pounds and the hooks say they support like 100lbs or something. I wasn't going to chance it but decided to give it a try and the pictures hung up perfectly with no problem because of their size. The hooks were also easy to insert and put into position. I was lucky enough to have interior walls and was able to avoid any stud issues. I didn't even use the laser level so I can't comment on that. I priced hooks at Home Depot and for less than the cost of 2 heavy duty hooks, I got a pack of 20 Hercules Hooks so I'm happy with this purchase.
